On-the-Up Boom Town

At one point, construction crews couldn’t build houses quickly enough in North Las Vegas. Where once there was only barren desert, housing popped up. Restaurants and shopping plazas, parks, schools and businesses supported the housing boom. Almost overnight, North Las Vegas shook off its aging infrastructure and turned itself into a boom town.
