Golf Lover's Paradise 

An intimate community of just over 1,350 homes situated in the northwest corner of the Las Vegas Valley, Los Prados has the distinction of being one of the few Nevada associations that owns and manages its own golf course. Unsurprisingly, the golf course dominates the site. Almost every property in this guard-gated community surrounds the lush fairways; a good proportion back up directly to the course. Well-maintained mature landscaping and park-like grounds along with crystal blue lakes makes Los Prados a picturesque place to reside. Look beyond the greens and you'll find spectacular mountain views. 

About half the villages in Los Prados are age restricted, meaning that at least one of the residents must be over the age of 55. The other half are occupied mostly by families. The retirement villages are moderately priced compared to other active adult communities in Las Vegas, making them popular with the state wide retirement community. The guard-gated community is a safe place to reside, protected by 24-hour patrolling security. 

Golf in a Tranquil Setting

Life in Los Prados is all about golf. The public, fun-to-play 18-hole course around which the community is built plays to a par of 70, with a yardage of just under 600.  The tight fairways and fast greens are among the best in the city and a long-time local favorite. 

If golf's not your thing, the two pools, spa, tennis courts and recreation center provide an enjoyable distraction. Walking trails surround the community offering gentle exercise, peace and tranquility. The onsite clubhouse with restaurant and lounge offers dinner dances and regular activities for the retirement community and family homeowners. 

The Los Prados community is situated between Jones and Decatur just east of the U.S. 95. Its location gives easy access to the large interstates that traverse the city and the many shopping, dining and recreational facilities available.

Living in Los Prados  

Homes in Los Prados range approximately from 1,200 to 3,500 square feet and many offer great views of the golf course. Prices for single family homes range from the mid $100s to the high 300's - moderate compared to other golf course and retirement communities in the Las Vegas Valley. Given the great setting, great golf and great atmosphere of Los Prados, you get a decent bang for your buck.
